Hi! I wanted to know if anyone has any personal experience or information on reputable adoption agencies. I'd also like to know if you have heard negative things about agencies too. Oh, and we are talking human babies, not animals by the way! Thanks for any help you can give!

We adopted all our children while living overseas, but I do know that if you are interested in adopting foreign born children, Holt International and Rainbow House are (were) two of the biggies...our kids are all grown with families of their own now...so I have not kept up with this.

Hope that helps!

Thanks Paka! Where did you adopt your children from? We adopted my son from S. Korea, so we are pretty familiar with that route. We are thinking about infant domestic adoption this time. It's just a matter of getting a really great agency who fits our needs! Thanks for the help though!

China and the Philippines...we spent 21 years living in Asia so that is why we have 5 asian kids, and 1 homemade.
