did i read that right??? you have to pay $10 to picnic in Landa Park??? --- it says that picnic tables are on a first come first serve basis and that park rangers will come by and collect the $10 picnic fee...

Yep...that is correct. Rates have gone up...used to be $5.

With gas being so expensive, I suspect a lot more locals will be hittin' up the "touristy" areas this year. I know we will be!
Check out the burger place, they have some of best burgers ever!

One of the stores there has some of the most authentically scented candles I've ever seen... er, smelled!

My kids have enjoyed taking art classes from the owner of this store that's located at Bracken Village.
