The whole thing started in 2004 or 2005, but we weren't allowed to mention it then. The word I've received from the people over there is it won't open anytime soon and even that will be delayed..

and I always got a kick out of those headlines that said NSA was coming to San Antonio..
It's been here for almost 20 years.. My first visit to Mr. Soc was in 92 or 93.

Ladies and Gents, I know I don't need to speak the obvious. For those in the know, let's watch what we say. Just a friendly reminder.

I will tell you from experience (I'm a Secretary working for the Army) that first, just getting in to government service isn't an easy task. And if you're looking at HR and Admin positions--well, I hate to say it, but those positions are....well, there are A LOT of people competing for those positions. A LOT of people try for those jobs even though they may be skilled in other areas to use them simply as a "stepping stone" to move up and on to what they want to do.

The large problems they face are $$ shortages. With a cough trillion dollar war cough it seems hard to find money to fund a lot of things.

An opportunity for those who weren't able to make it to any of their actual job fairs...

Quote:
Meet NSA Online

The National Security Agency (NSA) would like to invite you to attend the NSA Virtual Career Fair. It's happening Tuesday, February 24 from 3 p.m. - 8 p.m. EST. This is an online event for job seekers - and it is absolutely free to attend.

Come chat with recruiters about what it's like to work at NSA. You'll learn about the careers we have available and the incredible benefits we offer. And don't forget to prepare your resume! The recruiters can view your qualifications online while you chat. And you can apply to open positions on the spot! You'll be able to upload your resume to your virtual career fair profile after you register.

If you would like to attend, register today by visiting Show Registration.

If you cannot attend the event, visit Career Opportunities at the National Security Agency (NSA) to learn more about NSA and the career opportunities we have available.
Cheers! M2
