Default tree lights?

Has anyone installed backyard lighting in their yard? Such as spot lights in trees, accent lighting, etc? Who did you use if you wouldn't mind sharing and about how much did it cost? Thanks for any info!

We got a couple lights around our Mountain Laurel we had put in. We just went to Lowe's and picked up three solar lights. Have had them for about a year and so far so good. They are a bit more pricey I guess than your standard electric lights...I think these were around $20 a piece. I also have some solar lantern-style lights in the front flower bed. Have had them for about 7 years...they are solar, but do run off batteries that get their charge each day from the sun. Have had to replace the batteries one time just recently. I think 8 batteries cost me....gosh I don't remember exactly what they cost...I'm going to say it was around $25?? Some might say that's a lot...maybe it is? But like I said, we've had these lights for 7 years and have just recently replaced the batteries. And best of all, there are no cords to deal with.
