Default Need recommendations for dependable movers

We're S.A. bound in early June and in need of a team of movers to unload the truck for us. Can anyone recommend a good company?
Thanks.

I was about to reccommend Craigslist too. We found a mover there last Summer and they did a great job.

9 times out of 10 I go there first. We just found a wonderful handyman on Mother's Day! He came right out and fixed us up. I love checking it out even when I don't know I need something!

OKAY.... listen up...
these are guys I found ..... ON CRAIGSLIST!!!

"First on Firefighters Moving & Delivery"

Michael J Flores 210-508-3207

They have a 2 hour minimum, BUT.... if you use less than the two hours, they WILL DO OTHER TASKS FOR YOU TO USE UP THE TIME!!!!

They moved me, took less than 2 hours, and they removed several bees or wasps nests from the edges of the front windows - oh and brought their own extension ladder to do the wasps nests - shifted some stuff around in the garage so that certain things were more accessible, and one other thing, which doesn't come to mind right now... (seems like it was either some kind of gate latch repair or something with the sliding glass door in dining area...??? maybe... maybe not, anyway it was handyman stuff and they stayed the entire two full hours, 120 minutes, keeping busy)...
can't beat these guys in my book.....

They are great guys... they rent the truck and lots of blankets, they have extra dollies, including a fridge dolly...... (the truck rental is included in the 2 hour minimum charge....)
They are both local firefighters and earn extra cash doing this.... I won't say the rate they charged me, because I don't know if it's still the same, due to such high gasoline costs now... but I WILL tell you it was VERY reasonable, the best rate I'd found, the fastest and most professional response to my phone messages (to them and other leads on craigslist).....
I asked them for extra business cards and told them that I would gladly RX them to anyone who is in need of their services... DO CALL THEM, you WILL be glad you did....
They did a terrific job, handled my belongings very professionally and carefully, were very nice, agreeable guys, and did indeed stay the full two hours doing things I needed done.....

Soooooo..... give Michael a call... his partner, Marc Schell, also offers Lawn Service on the side, he gave me his card also....
... oh yes, one last thing ( I have hit edit about 4 times now LOL), they were continually, always very respectful of property, belongings, took great care running that dolly upstairs and care not to bump walls, etc.... something you EXPECT from movers anyway but often, anymore, don't get.....

That sounds like something my wife would LOVE. I'm getting jealous already.

Hmmm...do you suppose they'd apply sealant to my tile floors? I wasn't looking forward to doing that

They sound like a good find. I'll keep them in mind.
Thanks!

I just used Seal It international about a month ago. They did a great job. Terry Beall is his name. They sealed the tile & grout about 500 sq ft.

How much did they charge? I'm going to need about 2000sf done plus backsplash, showers and upstairs bath.
