Thanks, TxHwyMan! I agree with you about the Pat Booker revamp. I'm miffed about it since I used to drive that intersection regularly to get on 35 south. They go through these "improvements", and by adding that elongated "S" on the west side of I-35, they've just made the road alot more dangerous with the turns on there, coupled with the speed limit. I just avoid that area now. Are there any plans for the I-35/1604 interchange? The Cloverleaf seems to work fine for southbound traffic, but northbound traffic from 1604 sucks.

Yes and no. A new "stack" interchange would be built on top of the existing cloverleaf as part of the 1604 tollway project. The new interchange would connect to the new toll lanes in the middle of 1604. The existing cloverleaf would be retained to serve the existing toll-free lanes, which would remain.

The Pat Booker plan ... hard to visualize (thanks for the plat though.) Sometimes I've been pleasantly surprised by how new lanes can improve the flow. Guess I'll hope this works out too.
