Default What should SAPD do?

This poll is referring to the front cover story in the Express News.

MySA.com: Religion (broken link)

Personally I don't know how we as citizens can allow this to go on. I mean how can we pick and choose which laws to follow? How can SAPD pick which laws to enforce. Weather you are for it or not illegals are breaking the law. It does not matter if YOU think the law is stupid. I think a 70 MPH law is stupid yet if I break it I get prosecuted. Why should these people be any different?

The law is the law...break it, and deal with the consequences.

Yeah but this law concerns peoples lives and their families future. Not a little ticket that you earned for over sleeping.

I really don't know how I feel about this issue - I'm torn. I spent 6 years teaching immigrants and refugees in Canada before moving here so my heart tends to lean that way. Alternatively, my head says that laws should be enforced.....

Regardless of my opinion as a "Hispanic" the law is the law. If we don't like the law of the land, nominate local and state reps to change it when they get in charge. That's why we vote.

It seems to me that blatant disregard for law (right or wrong) breeds anarchy. That is one thing we do not need in the US.

Comparing to Hitler doesn't work.

Rounding up millions of people for extermination != sneaking into the country illegally.
