the point is to get out so im not stuck in my office all the time.

all work and no play (or at least some change of scenery) makes bluevalentine go...something something....

I think this coffee shop may have already closed down. If it's the one I'm thinking it is, it was open and then closed before I even had a chance to try it out.

These are AT&T locations. Depending on the location, if you are a DSL customer, have an iPhone, etc...it may or may not be free.

bluevalentine, since you're looking for a place to work away from home, I would also suggest connecting with the co-working movement here in SA. There are a regular group of people who meet to all work at various coffeehouses or other facilities around town certain days of the week. It provides a sense of cameraderie for those who are traditionally isolated at home or in solo working situations. Also makes for great new connections who could be helpful to your professionally. See the wiki at Coworking wiki / CoworkingSanAntonio and sign up for the facebook group to get new location announcements, etc.

Also, I strongly encourage you to try working at Olmos Perk or Little Aussie Bakery - both free wifi and very popular with solo workers. Madhatters is another favorite free wifi place but they have a "no cell phone" policy so you have to take calls outside on the sidewalk - not super conducive to getting work done.

Two more free wi-fi spots;

Which Wich - (WHICH WICH?) I know that the one on Potranco does have free wi-fi, and think the one on Huebner does as well.

Green - (green vegetarian cuisine - San Antonio's Only Vegetarian) - Just N/W of downtown. And they don't look at ya funny if ya hang out for awhile!

Unfortunately I have been too busy to make it out to Le Taza. Speaking of tech-smart people, anyone want to map out all the wifi spots?!? :P I'd do it, but I ain't that brainy.
