Ohana Hawaiian Grill and other Hawaiian food options in SA
Just got back from a trip to the other side of town, and driving down 1604 between Babcock and Bandera there is a new shopping center (close to the NSISD Football complex) that has a sign that caught my eye.
It is the Ohana Hawaiian Grill (or something like that but Ohana is the name)...is it open? If so, has anyone tried it???
We spent several meals during our recent trip to Vegas getting caught up on GOOD Hawaiian food, and would LOVE to find out more about this place!
Thanks for any help anyone can give on the place!!!

I passed it to but did not stop as their were no cars in the parking lot.
If you try it let me know how it was in our cool new profiles.

Will do. As we buzzed past it, I could not tell if it was open yet or not (we were headed south, so on the wrong side to get a good look) but certainly intend to find out more about it!
If anyone else knows when/if it is open, please share the wealth!

My wife noticed that it says "sushi bar" on the main sign for the shopping center...it's in the same lettering style that's on the restaurant...so if it is Hawaiian, maybe they're doing a little of both?

I do think the word "Grill" was in there, so if Shushi as well, you may be right...maybe both!
Would LOVE to find a local place for some Chicken Katsu, Loco Moco, Kaluia Pork and Lau Lau...and don't forget the Poke salad!!!!
I keep praying that an L & L Drive Inn will venture down this way now that they have made it to the mainland and seem to be branching out from the West coast.
They made it as far as Colorado already, then jumped right over to NY! Maybe someday Texas will have a few!!!

I drove by Ohana today definitely not open. There is also a sign for Subway up. The only place open was a nail salon.

Well....Ohana is a Japanese name - it means "Flower" so it's probably Japanese/Hawaiian.....
