Default Need info on storage units

Hi there. I am moving next month and need to store household goods for about 2 years. I have never had a storage unit, so am uncertain what is reasonable to pay. I have a 1 bedroom apartment, so I was thinking somethng about the size (or a little smaller) of a 1-car garage. I am hoping to get climate-controlled since I know our summers are brutal and I have items that may not fare well with the heat and humidity.

Any suggestions? I was hoping for something in the Med Ctr area or NW part of town. A friend from work said she rented from the place near the Silverado theaters off of Bandera & 1604. It was climate-controlled, about $100/month for a 10x20. Is that reasonable? I was really hoping for something around the $60-70 range.

Thanks!

We figured it'd be best to do climate controlled with the brutal Texas summers for sure.

We are paying $100 a month for climate controlled 10x10. Considered going up to the 10x15 or 10x20 size but it would of been another $50 a month I think.

Check prices. I think U-Haul was cheaper but it was 2nd floor. And we liked the fact that the nice couple who ran the place live on the property as well as all of the security cameras and stuff.
