I just crack up everytime I read this thread title... "where do all the old people hangout"... and then to read that 25 is what she/he considers old really makes me chuckle. I must be a fossil and petrified by now. That is just too funny. Just call me Grandma Moses for now on.

She stated that she doesn't think 25 is old by any means. She's just looking for a place where not everyone is 21, single and looking, and partying till they puke. I get it. At least, I think I do!

I know these aren't in S.A. but we love Gruene Hall, Tx 46 Bar & Grill, Spechts Store, Shade Tree, Hanging Tree, and of course Luckenbach. Lots of varied ages in all of these. In S.A. we've been hitting some fun Sports bars, such as Houllihans, Lion & Rose, Alamo Draught House & Rolling Oaks Sports Bar. Just drink have fun, and don't look at people for their age, just look at them like they might be your NBF

Thank you! I knew I liked you for a reason. I was going to type it again that I didn't think 25 was the beginning of the end but I thought it would be a waste of finger muscle usage. Anyway, thanks for getting it!

Sometimes we would like to do something different but can't think of anything else.

I go to Cielo and the Oyster bar Downtown. On the North side of town I like to go to Silo. It's near Dolce and Swig North. I'm only 28 but the crowd is usually a 30's-50's type crowd. A lot of younger people dont go there becuase they dont play that booty music crap. They have great live bands that play cover music......Cielo and Oyster Bar tend to side on the older R&B days when I was in high school....112, Case, Chico etc. like I always say, it all depends on what you like as far as scene. Luna Live is good.....

I understand what you mean, I'm 28 but drawn to the mature older crowd. When I was 21 I wasn't hanging out at clubs, I like the bar scene, better conversations!!!! I don't want to be around a whole bunch of binge drinkers who still want to house party and down 10 shots at last call....wait that's me.....jk. but seriously, sometime we just like to have a great time without all the people acting like kids and fighting....

ANYWHERE that doesn't play "booty music crap" works for me.

I never felt old for being early thirties until reading this thread though.

J/K - I must not look it because nobody thinks I am and I KNOW I don't act it but it's not for a lack of wanting to be. . . that's just my personality. I'll be the old lady with the "Bingo Kicks A$$" t-shirt on, that's for sure. (no SAS shoes here. . nope, no sir).

OK so I pass by there all the time and we have friends that hang out there but I haven't been. . . how's Broadway 50/50 now? Margarita's and Rosarios. . . nobody mentioned those. I see all ages at Rosarios and even though it can get sardine packed we NEVER feel out of place. The younger ones usually can't dance like we can!!! (NOT knocking younger people. . I was there once too)
