Hey DigginHouseVibez ~ I'm assuming you mean that Rosario's has a bar area? We're goin' there tonight for dinner with Otherhalf's work peeps, and wanted to get there a little early for Happy Hour.

Though I have not been there myself, some of my friends talk about Chris Madrids. Supposedly their tostada burger is on AOL's list of 15 burgers to try before you die. And leave it to one of us to bring up food in a thread. LOL

They do! Just as you walk in. Mojitos are AMAZING there. . . watermelon!

Chris Madrid's burgers taste amazing when you're there. . . not so good when you're burping them back up later that same night!

My bad, was that TMI? Us old people and our gas!!

(that was a half joke)

Which was the half joke...the age or the gas? LOLOL

There is so much live music around town...we just need a sitter or a nearby CDF member(s) that we can all swap some sitting for kids free evenings out. hmmmmmmmm...

Let your imagination run wild! hahahahaha!

Find someone who could handle my 13 year old who thinks she's 23 (the constant "talking" and "knowing everything") and I'll pay them a hefty salary and YOU a finder's fee!!!

Rosario's DOES get loud sometimes but I'm not a quiet person. Someone or someplace gets loud. . I just get louder!! My daughter inherited that.

I never felt old for being early thirties until reading this thread though.

J/K - I must not look it because nobody thinks I am and I KNOW I don't act it but it's not for a lack of wanting to be. . . that's just my personality. I'll be the old lady with the "Bingo Kicks A$$" t-shirt on, that's for sure. (no SAS shoes here. . nope, no sir).

OK so I pass by there all the time and we have friends that hang out there but I haven't been. . . how's Broadway 50/50 now? Margarita's and Rosarios. . . nobody mentioned those. I see all ages at Rosarios and even though it can get sardine packed we NEVER feel out of place. The younger ones usually can't dance like we can!!! (NOT knocking younger people. . I was there once too)
Now 30 something is old... hahahahaahaha!
Old starts to hit a little after 50 and progresses downhill quickly after that.
When you are in your 50's you will remember 40's as still being a spring chicken. I don't consider anybody old until they reach their 50's. I said old, not dead yet. Take really good care of yourself and maybe you can shave some of those years off but don't think you are anything close to old until the dreaded 50's take hold.

I don't think 50 is old, either. Of course, I'm 43 so it's right around the corner for me. As long as I am on this side of the dirt, breathing and eating on my own, and knowing who I am and who my kids are, it's all good.

Hey, 50 is NOT old! I'm heading to that corner at full speed and I still feel like I'm 30! Pretty soon my kids are going to pass me up! *lol*

Well as a 30 yr old that has recently started to go out again, I recommend Sherlocks off 281 or Zen Bar down town. I tried Tryst last weekend and was not impressed. For a friday night I was expecting it to be hoppin, but its was quite as could be.

But Sherlocks has been great so far, they had a nice band from Houston there a few weeks ago, Cross Cut was the name if I recall correctly.
