We are new here and my kids need to see the dentist. Anyone ever been to this dentist (Ronald Orr)? What were your experiences. Any info would be great! Thanks in advance.

My mom has been seeing Dr. Orr for, well, forever. Her descriptions of her appointments sound mediocre. Not bad, not great. I am a bit dental-discerning as I spend thousands at the dentist every year (long story). I visited the one next to the UC Police Department (Dr. Holmes, the father) and had a very pleasant experience. They use very new technology (no need for those nasty mouth molds!) and the office was very well organized and efficient (only waited about 3 minutes). Everyone was very friendly. As you can guess, the cost is higher at that place, but you get what you pay for (as usual). That office has both Holmes' as dentists (father and son) also. Link to their website:

Go with Huntsman or Leslie in that particular office. While Dr. Orr has been around for awhile, his dentistry has unfortunately lacked in the past few years and he is quite rough so I wouldnt recommend him for children. There have been incidents of patients having to return because he didnt get decay out properly before placing fillings, things like that.

Dr. Doose (Do-say) is an excellent pediatric dentist as well as a dental office in Schertz...I cant think of the dentist's name (spanish name) but he saw my son a few times and he was great. I believe the practice was called Kids Dental. Excellent staff too by the way.
