Snakes are prevelant here in SA. Not uncommon to see one slithering across the street at night from time to time. I always wonder why you dont see many stray cats

I saw a 1-1/2" rattlesnake as I was walking in a trail in the Ozarks
and I also saw a 20'+ python on a road in Venezuela.

I'd rather have snakes than scorpions, had 3 of them in our garage this week. Ew!

Oh God. I'm moving to SA next year from England and all this snake/scorpion/spider talk is scaring the living crap out of me

I'm petrified of even the smallest spiders we get here in England and I've never come across a snake that wasn't a pet and could possibly be dangerous. I'm worried my dogs might get hurt in the garden or something

I stepped on a small snake last fall while mowing the lawn. It was very tiny and harmless. I must admit I'm not too fond of snakes either, but am thankful this was my first encounter with one.

Holy thread resurrection Batman!

I have been here almost 2 years.

Seen 1 snake... it was DOA. Seen 1 scorpion... it was alive.

Texas 'n critters is like mom 'n apple pie... they go together.
