Smile Wurzbach Pkwy - what is the plan?

Can anyone tell me what the plans for Wurzbach Pkwy are? I recently moved here and have noticed that Wurzbach drops off abruptly and doesnt seem to have a direct route, or its under construction. The maps show Wurzbach running along so smoothly all the way from O'Connor to 410, yet when I drive it, it ends at Bitters, turn into something else and moves along somewhere else down the line. Anyway, if anyone can give me the scoop on the intended route of this parkway and when it may be completed, Id appreciate it.

Thanks. I guess the ( fold up store bought) maps are wrong as they show the road clearly going all the way across town.

Wurzbach parkway will never connect to 410...it's just connects to wurzbach rd.

Wurzbach Parkway will be a 12 mile east-west connector of I-10 on the northwest side to 35 on the northeast side . Right now only the northeast segment is complete. I'm not exactly sure when construction to complete the entire project will begin but I know plans are to make the interchanges at 281 and 10 toll-interchanges.

Right... Wurzbach parkway is intended to be a kind of a mid-loop... between 410 and 1604... to take a little off the load of each. Used if you're on the north side and want to get from east to west or vice versa without weaving thru neighborhoods and/or dropping up or down to 410 or 1604.
