On a serious note here... everyone be careful this holiday. There was just the incident at canyon lake about the boating accident ( accident hell!!) and someone died...all from drinking and going out on the water. That man will have to remember that he killed his friend for the rest of his life.

If your going to the lake and your going to be drinking, stay off the water!!!! Come sit with me and just watch the fun. If you going to be on the water, watch out for those that have been drinking!!

The life you save may be mine!!!!!!

Everyone have a safe and fun holiday!!

Oh, he'll be remembering it alright! He'll be remembering it from the Gray Bar hotel, where he'll be serving his time.

Our 4th of July will be preparing to fly to San Diego...to see our youngest graduate from USMC Boot Camp on 11 Jul. Flying out early to enjoy some time with daughter/son-in-law and grandaughter first...

how fun is that!

I think he should have to stand, every day on a street corner with a sign that says what he did. Sitting in a air conditioned, heated building ( no matter how small the cell) with food and drink, TV and exercise is not the thing to do. He should have to come home to the family of the person he killed,...... every day (after his corner standing) and have to look them in the eye. Even if he gets the death penalty ( which I am FOR) it wont fix anything.

That's just my 2 cents....sorry if I offended anyone...

LUCKY!!

I am dying to go to San Diego....I keep drifting over to the CA forum and looking at all the San Diego pics, and droooooooooooooling. There is something so special about CA, not just that my mom lives there, either!

Thanks! I will definitely pass it on to him!!! We do the same when we see the young men and women in uniform, and I know it means so much to them that strangers take the time to acknowledge their sacrafices for our benefits!!!

As usual the fireworks hotline for those of you that live in the city limits is 207-0202. Remember, when the fireworks are set off they're not thinking about your house....http://bestsmileys.com/fireworks/5.gif (broken link)
