Where do Stone Oak Catholics go who don't want to go to Holy Trinity?

Probably St. Mark's. It's the largest parish in the city and it would be the closest parish to the south.
St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church

If you're willing to look that far south, you should consider Holy Spirit, too. IIRC, St. Matthew's is #2 in membership and Holy Spirit is #3.

Yeah, Holy Trinity is taking some getting used to. Especially after coming from a very traditional church back in Dallas. I new it was going to be different living out in suburbia, the message is all the same and everyone does seem nice.

I too was looking for a Catholic church and live near Stone Oak (Canyon Springs). It seems St Mark is a popular and loved place to go. There is also St Padre Pio off of Evans somewhere, I think near Bulverde Rd. I have not heard anything about this church, I just found it on the internet. There is also St Joseph's, but it is off of HWY 46 in Spring Branch. I have heard really good things about this church, the only bad thing is it is a little further out there.

We're also at Canyon Springs, and my neighbor recently moved from Holy Trinity to St Padre Pio. They're currently using the Bulverde Elementary for their masses until their church is completed. He and his wife are eucharist ministers, and they love it there after leaving Holy Trinity.

When we lived over there I LOVED St. Marks. Only downside was the parking but there have been improvements I've heard, since we left. We moved and are closer to Ingram now (STUPID STUPID) but I didn't like any of the churches here so I go to the church my grandmother went to her whole life. It's a drive but the church is in need of money BADLY and the congregation is old so it won't come from there. It's St. Henry's off of South Flores. It's close to Blue Star and Gallista and some other art galleries. I'm hoping the area picks up soon and that the church gets some kind of help. It's really very beautiful.
I know it's not what you're looking for but if any Catholics ever feel like a nice drive before church on a Sunday! ;-)
I second St. Mark's though. . . GREAT church!
