Default Jeremiah Weed
Most of you probably have never heard of the stuff, but Jeremiah Weed is a bourbon manufactured in Connecticut and which has a special place in Air Force history. It's hard to find, being that it's only made in limited quantities and sold only at or around Air Force installations; and I have been unable to find any locally to include on base. The other thread on buying alcohol got me to thinking that someone may know where to score some, so if anyone does, could you please share the intel?

I didn't find anywhere on there to order it. I did email them asking if anyone sold it locally, but I haven't heard back from them yet.

I may have to try the Class Six at Randolph, but I would like to know before I waste the gas driving to the other side of town.

Well, I will check the class six for you when I am anywhere, and if I find it might buy you a bottle you would have to come over and collect so we could meet formal like vs just thru mutual friends!

Maybe the USMC base in San Diego stocks it...I will check for you week after next when we go to see Rob graduate USMC Bootcamp!

A quick google search ("jeremiah weed cost") revealed a place you could buy it online. That stuff is cheap! $10.99 a bottle. Since I'm not a fighter pilot, I'll stick with the George Dickel. It has a special place in Jazz DJ history.

Success! Found some at a local liqour store this afternoon. Just happened to be by this place, dropped in and there it was! $12.99 a bottle, plus tax. It is really great stuff!

There is a story behind how it became such an icon within the USAF which anyone who is interested in it can read here...
