Angry 1604/Potranco...laundromat

My dryer broke!!! Anyone know of a "decent" laundromat in the 1604/Potranco area?

I don't know of a laundromat, but the sun works wonderfully well these days. My clothes dry in about 30 minutes outside lately.

You don't need a clothesline, a couple of drying racks would work.

We just had the same situation. Couldn't find any place close, so we had to borrow someone's dryer. Turns out it wasn't our dryer that broke - the dryer outlet was "tight" so when the last resident left and pulled out their dryer cord, it popped one of the wires inside the outlet. Simple fix, thank goodness....

When we first moved here and didn't have a washer/dryer yet, we used the laundromat on Marbach - in the same strip mall as Delicious Tamales. It wasn't too bad.....

Thanks. I've been putting them outside to dry. It's the sheets/linens that I was hoping to avoid doing that with. I may have to try the one on Marbach for those.

You're allowed to hang out your clothes???? We're not. I mean, I agree, it looks completely tacky, but the clothes smell so fine! I would love to hang my sheets out, at least, but it's not allowed here and that's a good thing, I suppose.

Ah, yes, sheets are a bit of a pain to dry without a clothesline. We didn't have one for about 2 years (no dryer) and it drove me crazy. Now we have our wonderful clothesline and I love doing sheets!

To be exact, it's Marbach and Military across from the Little Ceaser's Pizza. As a kid, I would play 1942 while my mom would wash our clothes. I loved the smell, just like the smell of a VIA bus. Boy how lathargic that makes me. Forgive the spelling.

Sorry, there is another one on Marbach and I think Hunt ln. As mentioned before, in the Delicious Tamale area, near the Pizza Hut. That place seems always packed.
