Since there seem to be so many new people (myself included), I saw this and thought it would be good to post. I had no idea at this point the restrictions did not apply to SAWS customers. A tad confusing for newbies.

Interesting. I never knew that. What if you have your own well? We try to do our part and not water the grass in exchange for using water for the pool. I thought everyone was under the same restrictions no matter where you get your water.

If you have a well in the Edwards Aquifer you need a permit to operate it.... If you own a permit, I'm sure you know the rules. The permit is good for x acre feet of water. So permit holders have some limit all the time, but those limits decrease with water restrictions.

So what exactly are the restrictions/or where can we find the info on them? I have no idea what the stages mean.
