If I thought for a moment that our dalmation would be "welcoming" I would call and foster this dog while his owner is deployed...especially since he is a Marine!!!

Unfortunately, I think that our dal might not be at all impressed with my pleas......

never know.. I have a chihuahua with rat terrier in it and he gets along fine with the chow. At first the chow wanted to kill him, but after a day or so they started to get along.

I'd love to take care of him were it not for my cat that is no longer speaking to me--I brought another cat home a couple of months ago, and they no likey each other. She'd completely fire me if I brought another dog in here.

SanAntoQT--those lawyers don't know you're human, or do they just think you sprung a leak???

Awwwww. What a cute pooch. I have toy fox terriors and he would fit right in, kinda big though (my 2 year old weighs 3 lbs). I really hope he finds a caring home and praying that he gets to return to his marine dad one day.

I would love to foster him till his daddy comes home. We have a beautiful fensed yard and two female (spayed) min pins that would love a new brother. He would have plenty of deer, squirrels, and rabbits, and other wildlife to watch and a doggie door to come and go from the secure yard to air conditioned home.

I sent them an email as it was 11:00pm when I saw the touching story. I hope he is still available and I would have no trouble giving him back to his daddy when he returns from serving our Country.

Cross your fingers for us that we can help give him a temporary home filled with love, kisses, ear nuggies, and tummy rubs, as well as chewer's and treats daily....

Thanks Sapphire for posting the link....

Will keep you all posted!
