Default Flashback down Memory Lane

Wow. I was talking to an old friend today and she mentioned a place we used to love in SA, called The Bone Club...think it was down by SAC? Does anyone remember this? I googled "bone club san antonio", and it led me to this site. I lived in S.A. in the early to late 80's (live in Boston now), and have a lot of hilarious memories. I thought it might be funny to throw some out there and see what comes back. Help me relive those golden days, my friends.
Who remembers:

*String of Pearls (vintage clothing)
*Los Padrinos (dance all night)
*Tabasco Beach (didn't it have a boat in the front that you could eat in??)
*The original Taco Cabana down by SAC...so good
*A vegetarian restaurant also by SAC...what was the name of it?...seems like it had a giant picture of a Venus Flytrap and the benches were painted bright green
*Joe King Carasco & Butthole surfers

OMG...I LOVED your city. I LOVED Texas...and the people made it so great.
fondly,
lorilou

Sweetie Pie, I have a feeling that you'd have fun no matter where you went!
