What are good places to see fireworks. I have lived in San Antonio since 1994 and never been to Woodlawn lake and am finally considering it this year. Are they any good? Also - what other places put on a good show?

Are there any other activities going on this 4th of July weekend?

We usually watch the Fiesta Texas fireworks from somewhere along the IH-10 access road. If you get a high vantage point, you can see fireworks going up in other places while you wait for FT to start their show.

They're playing an away game this 4th of July, but a fun place to go watch fireworks on different days is at a Missions baseball game. They are having a fireworks show/game on June 28th. Every time we've been to a game, we've had a blast!

San Antonio Country Club has fireworks every year. It's not well publicized but the neighbors enjoy it. You can't get into the country club unless your a member, but they are very visible from all sides of the club.

Thanks for this Saph, I was going to try to catch both the Missions and Lackland as I always do but now I know not to do that. We may just end up going this Saturday.

ps. As usual, I need to spread it around first.

Sonterra Club has one, too. We've watched it from the Luby's parking lot at Blanco and 281. If he has a clear view to the west, Banker might be able to see that one from his yard.
