Rackspace, USAA make list

The list is the annual list by Computerworld magazine of the 100 best places to work for IT professionals.
Rackspace ranked 8th while USAA came in 20th.

The top company on the list, The Capital Group Cos., happens to have a large service center here.

Give Capital Group some LOVE - we placed #1, but you seem to mention it as an after thought. SA is home the CG's primary data center, the hub to worldwide communications enterprise.

Web and email hosting, mostly. They proudly claim to provide "fanatical support."

managed hosting is the technical term. Go to Scott's, Miller, Atari, and quite a few other large companies and you'll be hitting a Rackspace server. I worked for them for two weks and they are a great company to work for. Down side was an awful location (for me), which is about to get much worse and the pay wasn't good enough.
