Default Fishing

Looking to go do some fishing this weekend. I really don't want to go to the lake, I am looking for a good river spot. If it is a place I can camp out even better.

Any ideas?

How about some salty water at Goose Island State Park?

If you change your mind about lakes Inks Lake State Park is also very nice. Both offer great fishing and other activities to keep you busy.

What ever you do don't waste a day over at Braunig or Calaveras.

Try Guadelupe State Park. We go at least a couple times a month. My husband love to fly fish there...

Hmm the Guadalupe and Inks look promising. I still would like to find a good river spot. But I will try these out.

Thanks!

Lake Mcqueeny feeds into the river in New Braunfels. There is a camping site and boat ramp under the freeway next to the outlet mall there. Great fishing!
