I have the verizon card and it works just fine. Of course you can travel anywhere and have service - like the airport since their charge for WiFi. It also runs about the same as Sprint - $60 a month. They threw in the air card (USB card) for free and the activation.

If ATT offers this in my area, I may just get the DSL from them and then rely on the cell phone for regular calling.
If ATT offers DSL in your area, they have to offer Naked DSL. It was part of agreement they made with the Feds, in order to complete their merger.

This offer isn't usually advertised. I believe there are posts on the web if you search "naked dsl" to where on the ATT page it is offered. Calling them would probably be easiest.
