Place to get a massage?
Ladies and Gents,
Does anyone here know of a good place to get a massage? I want to get one for my fiance's birthday coming up on Monday. Any idea how much they are as well?
Thanks!
Jason

The Massage Heights right at the corner of Potranco and 1604 (in the same strip mall as Wing Stop and Pei Wei) is very nice.
I have had my first massage there and liked it enough to join.
FYI...give her the 1 1/2 hour massage...something DECADENT about that extra time for sure!!!

I have used Spa d'sante. I think the prices are very reasonable and they did a really good job for me.One hour $35.

I have used Massage Envy at Westover Hills Plaza. They are okay. Most of the therapists are really into the deep tissue massage, so not very relaxing.
For a true pampering, I'd recommend the Spa at the Hyatt near Sea World. Typical cost is apx $1/minute. You can find less, but that's been the industry standard that I have seen. At the Hyatt, you get to enjoy all the other Spa benefits while waiting for your massage, so if you go that route, make sure she goes early!
Such a great gife idea!!

My hubby and I went to Massage Envy at Bandera and 1604 for our anniversary. It was 1 hour and cost $39.99. After the first massage, the price goes up to $80. I got the stress relieving massage and was very relaxed. My husband got the deep tissue massage, and regretted it the rest of the day. He was sore for a couple of days which is to be expected.

Do something nice, not a stripmall spa. Send her to the Watermark Hotel downtown, then you can have a romantic dinner on the Riverwalk after.

my friend and i have been to the woodhouse spa at the quarry. massages are a little more expensive than some mentioned already but very worth it. it has a great spa feeling to it. check out the prices and offerings on their website (woodhouse spa). i am sure she'll enjoy any massage....they are great!
