I got the bright idea to take the family to Schlitterbahn yesterday! What a lousy idea that was It was packed! I figured that it wouldn't be that crowded on a Thursday, boy was I wrong. We actually waited in one line over an hour an a half just to ride the master blaster. I know that Schlitterbahn is the nations #1 waterpark, but the crowd was ridiculous. Does anybody have any recommendations of a good time to go??

I had my husband take me for Mother's Day one year. Hardly had any lines at all. We were able to hit all the rides that day and still have time for the "Lazy River"

Tuesdays are the best days to go. People usually start their vacations on Thursdays and end Monday. Then people think that the middle of the week is good, so Wednesday is out! I would stick with Tuesday!

We go on Father's Day every single year. Never seems to be that bad at all. We get on every ride we want to get on with little wait.

The best time would be a weekday in the short interval between when most of the schools opened back for the fall semester, and the closing time for the season. That might involve kids taking time off from school. Any weekday during the summer will be packed because most customers are probably teenagers who are off during the summer anyway.

My family went to Six Flags Dallas one time when I was a kid during that interval (before SA schools started back again). We had the whole park to ourselves.
