I work at a hotel and use them pretty frequently for my guests. For the most time they are like any other like any other "biggest of its kind in San Antonio" company...provide pretty average service at a "you have no other choice" price, but when something like an unexpected ice storm happens and they are going to be an hour late to pick up a customer they don't bother calling. Big Ego.
For the most part if you need to get somewhere at a "taxi" price they will get the job done.

I've used them to/from my house to the airport on a couple of occasions with no problems. They were always on time.

They are very good. One time on the way to the airport I broke one of my heels while climbing in the cab (don't ask me why I was going to fly wearing two inch heels), and the driver actually got out and climbed under his car to get it for me!

Exclamation When You Only Want The Worse

This is by far the worse service anywhere!... after waiting for over 2 hours for a taxi, I finally gave up. Figured at this pace I could get where I am going faster by walking...

Too bad Yellow is just about the only game in town... This is the only way they can stay in bussiness.

Never will recommend them to visitors... Anything but Yellow!!! Via is a much better choice!!!

PM me if you want a reliable driver. I use the Towne Car service from Yellow. It's a Lincoln Town car at regular (metered) taxi rates. I travel back and forth to and from the airport every week and use the same driver each time. He's never been late.
I change flights frequently due to early/late meetings and he's always been able to accommodate me.

Had a problem once trying to go from home to the airport for an early morning flight - they never showed. When I called they were rude, and acted like they were busy & couldn't make it at the time I needed, they never called to let me know. I ended up driving myself, which is what I was trying to avoid.
