The governor of CA wants to create some sort of government run health care plan if this passes you can expect more companies to move out of CA.

room2roam, would you mind telling me the area in SA where you landed a 3400 sq. ft home for $220K? Was it in 2006? I'm living in Bakrsfield, California. I think SA may be what I'm looking for. My wife and I may visit this spring. We are starting a family and need a place to stretch the dollar. Bakersfield has similar values to SA, from what I've read.
