Wow..I have not seen rain like this in two years, literally, as we were in Georgia and moved here after your big rainy summer last year.

Hmmm as for my guess......2.3 inches.

I'm glad I was wrong too. I'll gladly trade a free lunch for the amount of rain we got.

according to the weatherbug at the airport it's .93" so far, but that seems low. Then again that rain gauge has to have an umbrella covering it or something because it's always lower than anything else.

OK, I know it's not at all accurate, but my little rain gage in the back has 3 inches in it. (How close did we have to be to win??? ha ha) I know it was empty this morning when it all started. Both the little creeks in the neighborhood ran over and flooded the roads. I just got home and Potranco and 1604 is still closed due to flooding.

Anyone have a good guess as to why they built the Walmart there??!! Anyone thats been here for any length of time knows that road floods.

the drainage canal thing on my street was a fast moving river, so I'm guessing we got quite a bit of rain in WestCreek. It was definitely an improvement over yesterday and my only complaint is I somehow didn't raise my back window all the way up and some rain got inside. Good thing they don't put carpet in that thing. Most brilliant idea I've ever seen in a vehicle. It's like this rubber mat thing that provides plenty of cushion and seriously cuts down on road noise. Best part is you can just sweep it out.

I was thinking that also. Last year when it rained about every day, that road was always closed!
