Yes, he got his start by doing the sports for KTSA and KTFM which at that time had Drex and Roberta. Drex brought him in for a while and that's how he got his start. Then they brought in Miss Ree which had a hair salon on the East Side. Drex finally left taking some girl named Mel T and another guy. |

I forgot to mention this earlier. I like WOAI in general, but my vote for the biggest jerk on TV is Brian Collister. I realize investigative reporters are supposed to be a bit pushy, but he's really full of himself. And a lot of his reports are just sensational and lack any real substance if you think about them for more than a minute.

My favorite weatherman is Maclovio Perez on Ch 4 WOAI. He seems genuine and his on air personality is easy going...not cheesy like some of the others that are dancing around or making corney jokes!
I also like Jennifer Broom. She gets to the point and tells me what I need to know...I like that.
Although I prefer Ch 4, I must add that I rarely even watch the local news. I read the news online and subscribe to the SA Business Journal. I usually tune in only for the weather report so I'm not an expert on this topic
