Who's the biggest jerk on San Antonio TV and radio?

Having worked in television news, I can tell you that the on-air personas you see are often very different from the off-air personas. Some of the goofiness you see on the air is a result of meddling by management and consultants.

Marou...the guy isn't a journalist, he's a columnist. I don't watch the news to hear the anchor's opinion on every story, which is why I don't watch KENS

My vote is also for Marrou. I don't watch KENS mainly because of him. I don't need his snide remarks or his poor attempts at jokes. Close second is Bridget What's-Her-Name. So unprofessional with her bad grammar and her whole look is cheap. In fact, I have noticed that all the women reporters and anchors wear way too much make up on this channel.

Jar-head Silverman gets my vote. Something about that guy makes my skin crawl. I hate the way he used jump for joy everytime the rain went the other way. He doesn't do it much anymore. I think maybe someone called him on it and clued him that in SA we usually hope for rain.

What about Steve Brown on 12 ABC and his "goofy" antics. Couldn't tell the weather if it hit him in the face. Sloooow to react to any interaction with his co-hosts. BTW, His garden, he hasn't raised a finger to tend to "His" garden. He has Mr. Agricultural expert out there working like a dog planting ,fertilizing,applying insecticides and generally babysitting "His" garden. What a guy!
