I love Bennigan's Monte Cristo sandwich. I don't eat it often, actually it has been years since I have been there, but that is what I like to order. I have not tried anything else.
And, not to hijack the thread, Chili's no longers serves their Awesome Blossom. Anyone know why? I thought they were the ones to make them famous? They also don't serve fried cheese sticks anymore.

I thought the Awesome Blossom was made famous by Outback?! I know they still serve that.
Chilli's has been good at balancing out keeping their menu fresh while still maintaining some of their old standards.

I think that the Bloomin' Onion is Outback's, and Chili's has the Awesome Blossome? Either way I don't know who did it first but it sucks if Chili's no longer has it. Not that I go there that often... but when I do...

Funny thing is, until recently I didn't even know there were Bennigan's around here! I used to frequent them when I was a teenager almost 30 years ago! I just noticed the one at 1604/281 a few weeks ago, and have been meaning to check it out but to be honest there are so many good restaurants closer to us I am not too motivated to travel that far away just to eat!
Cheers! M2

I heard on the radio this afternoon that all the Bennigans in SA are franchise and are not affected...don't know, don't frequent them...but just in case anyone is interested they are suppose to be/remain open.
Chili's is too greasy for my taste. Seems I am in the minority since there is one on every corner and they are always busy tho.

Not a fan of Chilli's either. Bennigan, TGIF and Chilli's are all the same to me.

It's not the food, it's the bar. Every Chili's bar I have ever been in is poppin'--of course, not with the movin' and shakin' crowd that everyone is always in search of on this forum. The "chain crowd" loves it, though.
