I can't believe that SA was once so small, rural and insignificant. That pic says a million things. Imagine the way those folks felt who lived so far out of the city in the country. That area is now almost part of downtown. Or maybe it's the downtown of the westside.

Yes, it is a cool picture! I wonder if everyone back then was saying SA is just growing too fast and too far out. I know when I first moved here, people were still lamenting the loss of all the farms on the NW side. The Great NW subdivision was all new and it was way out in the sticks.
