Job hunting/markets/fairs are the domain of your campus career services/center, not the education department. You need to utilize their services while you still can. Attend every seminar, etc., that you can regarding interviewing, resume writing, etc. This advice will never be free again!

For those of you trying to find a job and focusing on NEISD and NISD the reason your not getting hired is because your not looking in the outskirts of San Antonio. I just got hired this week takes me 25 minutes to get to the school from San Antonio and I'm going to make 43K plus stipends as a first year teacher. For those of you who are looking elsewhere disregard, but for those who still can't get hired in the popular districts don't forget about the outer parts of the city. Best thing about the school I got hired at no traffic getting there smooth sailing, good luck everyone don't give up....
for those of you who don't know go to the TASA website they post Texas teacher jobs in there, that's how I got hired.
