Note: The trash bill on CPS bill applies only if you live in the San Antonio city boundary. If you're living in the county, then you have to get your own trash pick-up. If you do, suggest you go with Tiger Sanitation as they only charge $63 a quarter for once a week pick-up (they give you a huge trash can).

Not only that, but some of the municipalities don't charge for trash. Well at least not directly they have property taxes and sales taxes......

Typically, HOAs for subdivisions that do not have municipal pickup contract for trash pickup for the entire subdivision and pay for it out of the assessments.

Maybe so for smaller HOA's. Westcreek is the 3rd largest and they don't. If it came down to cost, I would rather have the choice.
