If money was not an issue where would you live in San Antonio?

I wouldn't. Instead I'd buy a small ranch somewhere in the Hill Country. The city is starting to get too crowded.

Elm Creek or in Shavano over in a bigger house (just need an extra 600 sq ft or /and a better floor plan for the boys. Bought this house before there were two). one of the lucky ones that has a place in the Hill Country now I need city life and not have to worry about wild pigs mowing me over ( we are having a feral hog problem!)

I'm with Steel Man, as long as the schools were good.

Hilltop overlooking Medina Lake on at least 5 acres. I know it's not San Antonio...I prefer it that way.

Oh yeah, and if money weren't an issue, I'd give the city as much money as it needed to finish 1604 all the way around as a freeway.

In one of those wacko 1920's-era Spanish Revival Beverly Hills-lookin' joints in Olmos Park...or perhaps that sprawling mid-century-modern compound O'Neil Ford designed for oil-zillionaire Tom Slick over by the Olmos Dam. That place is about the size of 6 bowling alleys combined

I would either live downtown in one of the new condos going up or in the Inverness off of NW military.

No way, not me, the city gets WAY too much $$$ already with it's insanely high property taxes (not to mention all the sales tax they have rolling in - I cut the comptroller a huge whoppin' check each month, makes me sick to my stomach, ugh).

They oughta have enough money in their coffers by now to finish 1604 eight times over

Default D'hanis or Hondo

On a ranch in Hondo only 34 minutes commute to SA and not much traffic yet.
D'hanis is more like a 45 minute commute but good schooling.
