Austin has a college vibe too it it is funky etc, its very liberal. Its not San Antonio. I think Monte Vista is an excellent place to live because its 10 minutes to the Airport & slighly less to Downtown. Its a historic neighborhood and has great ice cream at justins!

King William is a wealthier more homely version of Southtown. Many painters and writers and poets (artists) live in million dollar mansions.
Southtown is something I think you’d really like and its not a bad investment either.
Here’s the url for the Southtown website:

I will check out the website. I heard about Southtown, I think from you or others on this site. It sounds like some place that I would like and would be a good investment. SoFlo sounds interesting also.
Thanks

Yes, actually it was basically the genesis of Southtown. When Blue Star opened up it inspired other artists and people of that vein to begin linfilltrating the area. However, funny enough, it's at the southern most edge of what is now called Southtown. It's also right smack in the middle of both Southtown and SoFlo District.
