My friend and I are both about to be 21 year old. We will be going to UTSA, and we want to get an apartment together and split the rent/utilities. He is pre-med, and I am pre-dental---So we both will want peace and quiet because we HAVE to study. We basically need to know what the best (under $900.00) apartments are for UTSA students. Thank you!

Good luck.

Default house

best option is to find another person or two, and getting a house or townhome. you mention peace and quiet but you probably wont find that in an apartment and for that cheap as well.

Ok well I'm probably not the best person to answer as I'm still in High School. But my sister is going to UTSA and there is actually low-cost apartments right next to UTSA! Believe it or not. She was planning to move in with her best friend and they share the rent but my mom needed her to stay a little bit longer. I have no idea wat those apartments are called but you are sure to see them when u go. You can't miss them. My sis told me they're specifically made for the students. An alternative to dorming if you may.

I live with parents and its and free mostly. I suppose with all the money I spend on gas I might as well be renting an apartment near campus.

Hmm, two different apartment complexes come to mind: the Outpost and the Reserve.... Good apartments, student-dominated, nice, and relatively new

Very affordable, in fact, cheaper than on-campus housing!

There are apts all around the UTSA Campus! However I can say this do Not Rent from the Estates of Cantera! They are new but they smell, and are Roach infested! Parking Blows and the staff is retarded!
I know a really good apt locator that can help, or search for one...Google is your friend!
