It was there, trust me. Or not.

Did it say the Rim specifically or just Life Time? We go to the one on 281 & both of my boys had loose stools for two weeks, one is over it & one is still recovering - not persistent diarrhea or throwing up, no fevers, but my dad told me about this parasite & now I am really wondering....
Also, the Life Guard approached everyone coming in today about putting their babies in swim diapers.

Yes, it specifically said the Rim, but they've determined that there is no problem with the water there.

But still, you might mention it to the manager--maybe more people had trouble and just didn't put two and two together.

I don't know what would possess someone to put a baby in a pool, public or not, without a swim diaper. I think someone should come up with a better owner's manual that they present new parents with upon discharge from the OB ward.

What kills me is the fact that some parents would rather endanger the lives of people swimming in the pool (including other kids, mind you) by not reporting that "junior" had an "accident." Instead, they do some quick clean up and depart the scene.

Sure, it would be really embarrassing to report the incident, especially because you know that everyone is going to have to go home and the pool will be closed for a while until verification of cleanliness is done. However, is that enough to justify making others sick?

I dunno...swim diapers seem like such a little thing to avoid. Heck, most public pools have some available for parents who forget to bring one.

I wonder how much a swim diaper holds in though. I have never gone without them for my kids but after a day in the pool, they seem about as sturdy as a wet paper bag.
