I now realize we must keep our sense of humor in check in the C-Df-San Antonio.

Oh My....Sweetie....I wasn't thinking you were a troll....I actually was thinking the OP might be suspect since it was such an unusual topic for SA. That was my bad....and I thought others including you might have thought that too! I should be apologizing to GodsQ because she seems sincere enough. We all need a sense of humor.....and I think that was the case on everyone's part here...right? It's just so hard to know these days. Slap my hand for getting anyone in trouble! I'm sorry!!!

I have a friend at work who told me there is a west indian restaurant in town, my wife is also Guyanese and it is one of the first questions we had (along with where are the Puerto Rican restaurants) when we arrived in SA. I'll try to get the info for you tomorrow.

Yes, Guyana is in South America. I've had Guyanese food and it's really delicious. I'm anxious to hear if there IS a restaurant in town....

Hi everyone,

I just found this thread. Any luck finding a Guyanese grocery store or restaurant in the Dallas-Austin-San Antonio area? I am from Guyana and have been trying to find one for years.
