Half was John Jay and the other half was Southwest. I went to southwest.

What year? My boyfriend worked there. We use to walk to Valley Hi Mall before there were cars. I mean before we all got cars.

I'd like to say back in 96 or 97. There are plenty of partners all around from that HEB. The florist at HEB Plus was from HEB 11. She still looks like a teenager.

I fear growing old.

Oh, I wasn't in HS when I worked at HEB. I graduated in 94. But still, rather young. Fearing Forty!

We were (my dad is still there) right off of Medina Base Rd. I went to Valley Hi Elem, Rayburn MS, and graduated from John Jay.

SA Greed-I took ballet lessons in the old HEB mall when I was young, and my husband took karate lessons there too.

I saw a cashier that worked at HEB 11 and now was at the HEB plus on Blanco. I remember her from when I was little, I graduated in 90. She said she misses that HEB, the people were nicer there, both customers and employers/employees.

It was very nice, I started when they built the current location. I wasn't there for the one they tore down. I think a lady got shot/killed there.

The Valley-Hi HEB--from years ago, used to be wonderful to shop at!! The cashiers there (and the produce lady, too) were all so nice to me when I was pregnant, and after my son was born they ooohed and aaahhhed over him like he was family! I was not allowed to even carry a loaf of bread to my car. I was so sad when they closed it. The "new" Valley Hi HEB is nothing like the old.
