Again, sorry for the short notice.

We do need to plan something. Sounds like there are a bunch of great people here that love to camp.
I'd love to go, but I'd have to see what my girls say - they don't handle cold or rainy very well!

It's not going to rain on my camping trip!!! Just because it says rain here, doesn't mean it will rain there! and they're allowing campfires!

Seriously, I understand. Hubby and I go no matter what the weather says. If It gets to bad outside, we just go inside and make our own fun ( not that!...well sometimes)

If anyone changes their mind, they had lots of openings.

I checked the weather, probably rain. But I forgot we had a bday party to go to also, so we'll have to see...

We don't let the weather scare us either. We have been camping in all sorts of weather from freezing sleet to sweltering heat (gotta love the travel trailer and it's amenities )

We have a soccer/parent meeting tonight - if they're not planning on anything for this weekend, the wife and I will probably come out Friday night. The smallest kiddo already has a sleep over planned, and we can farm the oldest one out if she doesn't want to go!! If Jules' kids go, she may want to tag along, especially since it's a one-nighter and she won't have to share a bed...

We'll find out tonight if we can plan on going or not!

What about Chris' "fake campfire"?? That'll work in a pinch! I have two propane tanks, guess I'll go ahead and get them filled up!

Ooohhhhh, I SO want to go! But I can't. Besides the fact that kiddo is one-handed for the next month we've got "get house ready to sell" stuff to do.

Have fun!

According to these, Gonzales County is still under a burn ban. I'll call the park and make sure!

EDIT - just missed their office. They closed at 4:30.
