Dick Elvey was the man who owned it. I loved the place and went there every Saturday since we moved near Terrell Plaza in the early sixties. I worked for him for about two years. He was a character and knew a lot about antique trains. He had a free H.O. gauge racetrack he would set up for free outside the front door on Saturdays to let kids race. He paid me in cash every week $72.18 a week and I was fulltime!

aladins castle,diversions,diamond j's(not rocky j's),kaybee toys,fishin pier,toy city,po folks,are some that come to mind but i still see lonestar ice house,and theres a griff's on the southside though.for music rock around the clock @ eisenhauer flee market,the record hole,musicland,impact music,metor music,drum talk,kirk scott's drum city,ohh i just though of krammers night club,and of coarse sneakers,midevil knights too.
