Anyone remember the Four Season's Steakhouse (can't remember where it was ....near North side somewhere.

Broadway Theater

The Shoe Box

Cookies dress shop? where was that? San Pedro and Hildebrand?

The Pin Cushion fabric shop on N. New Braunfels

King Wah Chinese Restaurant

The "Raven Room" club on Ft Sam (60's and 70's)

The Tee Pee Steakhouse on Austin Hwy.

BIG Hipps Bubble Room (someone mentioned Little Hipps)

O'Krents downtown at Main and McCullough (I know they have a new location)

The Sheraton Inn Hotel (Later the 7 Oaks)...now scraped off the planet and being replaced by apartments.

Dan Cook's Sports Bar

Luigi's on San Pedro

The "HOT TUB CLUB" (not sure of the name, but where Maggies used to be or Culpeppers....or along there somewhere)

I remember my parents always saying it was good. I just ate it because at the time Mexican food was so new to me (we moved here in '89). There was another Taco Cabana like place that I loved when I was younger called Sombrero Rosa that had sombreros all over the ceiling. I can't for the life of me remember where it was (a few places come to mind, but I don't want to say with it probably being wrong). My little sister (7 years younger) would just sit and stare at the hats when she was a baby. I'm pretty the Sombrero Rosas were bought or turned into Taco Cabanas because they were so similar.

I think there was a Sombrero Rosa on Wurzbach near 10 on the Tiffany's stretch of the road--or closer to IHOP and Jack in the Box. It's a Taco C now--if I am not just making all this up!

That was gone pretty quick though. Does anyone remember that place? It was past the HEB on Babcock. Oh and there used to be a Burger King in front of HEB...that was a happening place for a first grader in 1991. i don't recall what that is anymore. lol. I actually think the big sign for the Fajita Junction is still there...it's a big blank sign.
i remember that Fajita Junction, i used to eat there, as well as a few around town. and i remember how LONG that signage was up after its closing because a friend of mine and i were driving around, saw the sign, got all excited only to see that it was closed. lol. talk about disappointed. i remember that Burger King as well and i think it was that up until the early 00's.

Probably! I don't go over that way much anymore. I am just going off some fuzzy memories of yesteryear.

There is a chain called "Two Pesos;" however, it started in Houston and there was never one in San Antonio. They copied Taco Cabanas concept and were sued by TC and lost (all the way up to the Supreme Court) in 1992. Taco Cabana then bought out TP in 1993.
