Did you mean Buddy Civileto's? Not sure of my spelling either.

Your spelling was closer than mine. And on Blanco Road there was a little white shack called Joes Hamburgers. On Google Streetview it shows up as 2424 Blanco Rd. The damn thing is still sitting there.

Oh man! Joe's Hamburger's? Was that the serious greasy spoon on Blanco maybe 2 or 3 Blks. north of Hildebrand? Think it was a white shack on west side of Blanco. Pretty nasty but other guys at work thought they had good burgers. I don't remember what I thought!

This reminds me, are Chris Madrid's and Blanco Cafe still open? They were between Fulton and Hildebrand on Blanco Road. Used to go there for lunch in 1970's!! Christan's had good tacos. Garcia's at Fred. and Woodlawn near I-10 had good food.

OH Heck No, The burgers were not too bad, but that place has been gone for decades.
...and it was nasty inside. I seem to remember when you walked in they asked, "how many for you". The burgers were round meat balls and they were pounded flat while you waited.

U R Cooks Steakhouse
50 Off store
Oshmans - but someone beat me. I used like going to the one in N. Star Mall and go downstairs. What moved in to the old store and what did they do w/ the downstairs?
Someone mentioned K-Mart, they are still open in Laredo and Portland (corpus christi). I see them in my business travels.
