Fitness 19 coming to NW (Bandera: lease, how much, month-to-month)

Has anyone noticed the new Fitness 19 going up at Braun and 1604 next to that old house just on the east side of the freeway? I was a member back in Phoenix, AZ and really liked it. Anyone else been there?

Good to see there's another gym in the mix now. This one charges under $20 per month and it's a month-to-month deal.

Anybody know of any other gyms in the area?

Well, there is one a little further down 1604 towards Sea World. It's at the corner of Potranco and North Ellison... it's called Anytime Fitness. It's very similar to the Fitness 19 concept. YMCA also houses a small gym at "BRAUNDERA" the corner of Braun and Bandera OP SCHNABEL Park area.

Glad to hear you liked it! My hubby joined today! We were members at LifeTime Fitness and really like it but he likes that this is much closer to home and doesn't need all the frills, just a place to go get some cardio and weight training. Again, thanks! I'll tell him!

How much is Anytime Fitness? Is it month to month? I was interested in the one on thousand Oaks.

I went by the Fitness 19 on Braun/1604 a few weeks ago. They told me they were looking for a December 4 opening. Went by Wednesday, November 26. They hadn't done anything in the way of installing equipment. With the economy still on the downside, I wonder if they're having problems with financing. There's a for lease sign in the window of their space along side their sign. ???
