Steel Man, Thanks. I missed that. And, wCat, sorry I asked a question you'd already answered! It must be my age.

Well, I am in the very last one age 57, Im looking for my retirement location, but when I read half of the information on these different places, I say to myself, maybe there is more to a retirement place than a warmer climate, and maybe I should just stay in Oregon.

I'm dying of curiosity to know what part was the big turn off?

Well, I was referring to posts on all the different regions of the usa, not just san antonio, but the main turnoffs have been. All the places we hear that are so good, especially in the warmer climate areas, are now over populated, living costs are no longer affordable, and all of that will just get worse and worse, that is what I meant about, maybe i should just stay in Oregon, at least I know the rain keeps some from moving here, and making it more crowded.

wCat, I revisted this site tonight, thought this would be a good site to re-visit, not as provocative as some of the other threads. I'd missed your earlier post where you said you were in "the pink, but felt like...." . I periodically refer to this post to see who the participants are age-wise. I, too, am in the pink, for all that it is worth. Hope to see more pinks. Thanks for encouraging the survey and taking the time.

Well thank goodness for PINK! There is a lot of life left in us PINK folks. We're not fossils yet.....actually I feel better now than I did at 30 with a job and two small children!!! Much more brain activity now!
