its better to loose a minute of your life than to loose your life in one minute.

with that I bidd you farewell, I'm going over to parents house to sleep, I dont want to see its spirit comming over here. They say that if you look a dead man in the eyes hes going to follow you home and will bother you untill his soul is put to rest.

I'm not sure about that last part, but you've definitely been traumatized emotionally. You'll be fine when new and happier images begin to replace this tragedy. It's good you have family to help calm your spirit. Don't be hard on yourself if this doesn't go away soon.

This happened the weekend school got out for Christmas break. I will never forget that courageous mother. This was her ONLY child.....and she was beautiful. Her first reaction was to have a closed casket at the funeral, but when over 400 college students showed up to the funeral, she decided to leave it open. My daughter was completely shaken by viewing her friend in such a state, but she definitely had her eyes opened. I thank that blessed woman for allowing her daughter to be a symbol of how precious life is. I can still cry thinking about it.
Sad........

I live close to that area and travel through there everyday....you would not believe the number of people that run redlights at that intersection....

Potranco has turned into one of the worst roads ever and I almost always go any way but that way. This sounds like it was totally the motorcyclists fault and they need to be more careful. I have seen so many reckless ones lately and it's always just a matter of time before it catches up with you. Wear a helmet, don't do anything stupid (like run a red light), and always assume the person next to you doesn't see you. That's the way I always rode.

The only other road in the area that is worse is Bandera Rd. From IH-410 all the way to 1604. I dread traveling that road and only do so after the rush hours. Potranco is catching up....fast. It would be a BIG help if they would synchronize the traffic lights so that you could go (non-stop) from 151 to 1604. BUT, the usual response is "it would cost too much to do that"....rubbish. The only thing there's too much of on that roadway are the vehicles.

oh yeah, I probably go Bandera 1604-410 maybe once per year. It's just stupid bad and full of stupid bad drivers, just like on Potranco. What were the odds?

A motorcyclist who died on a far West Side street Sunday evening after colliding with a truck has been identified as Claude Black III, 46, of San Antonio.
San Antonio police Sgt. Hector Salas said a preliminary investigation showed that Black, riding a blue Harley Davidson motorcycle, was traveling east on Potranco Road when he collided with a truck traveling on a Texas 151 access road.
Black was pronounced dead at the scene. Salas said an initial investigation determined the motorcyclist ran a red light.
